It took me a while to figure out exactly what I was looking at here and grasp the perspective =). I like the juxtaposition of all the different elements. It's a good composition. Despite the wide array of elements, your eye really stands out. You've got one of the blues eyes I've ever seen, and the red shirt creates a nice contrast to it and makes it pop. I think this pic would also look pretty cool if it was turned to b&w, and just your eye remained in color.

I will have to try that. Once upon a long time ago I only worked in black and white in my artwork, pencil or pen and ink, and people told me that I had such a strong talent for that I should never work in color. Oops. I promptly had to try it out and fell in love with the possibilities. Maybe it is time to explore the old and make it new.

First, know that your words have power. Over your environment, the people you meet, friends and family, and most especially, over you. Then realize that you have power over your words.

I don't think it ever hurts to dabble in a little bit of both every now and then. One's creativity should not be limited to any one criteria. In some pieces color can be a distraction, while in others it could really enhance the image. I say variety is the spice of life hehe. :yum:
